Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Engineering Manager, Hardware to lead a high-performing team in developing innovative hardware solutions for motion and control technologies. The role focuses on electrical/electronic hardware design, embedded systems, and product validation, with responsibilities spanning planning, lifecycle support, and cross-functional collaboration.

This onsite position will be filled at Mirabel, QC or Washington, MO, with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required.
• Minimum five years of engineering experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in hardware design, embedded systems, and lifecycle support is desired.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for hardware engineering teams including electrical hardware and embedded firmware coordination.
• Translate requirements into hardware plans, schedules and deliverables.
• Lead development for new products, sustaining engineering and cost reduction.
• Ensure projects meet cost, schedule, reliability and safety targets.
• Coordinate with firmware, software, cybersecurity, product management and manufacturing teams.
