Ford of Canada, Windsor Engine Plant, is seeking an Engine Plant Assistant Resident Engineer. You will work with manufacturing to identify and contain quality issues, support engine component launches, and collaborate with propulsion design teams and plant quality.

The position is on-site in Ontario, reports to the resident engineer, requires a Bachelor in engineering and 7+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in engine product development. Salary 87,000–137,000 CAD plus annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience in technical/cross-functional environments.
• 2+ years of experience in engine Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing or Systems Engineering.
• Bachelor in engineering is required.

Responsabilités

• Address quality issues with manufacturing using data and teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive actions with plant residents and other plants.
• Represent Product Development during plant containment actions and quality reviews.
• Develop and execute Product Validation plans with Launch and Quality managers.
• Support Change Management processes and review ES records.
