Job summary

Air Canada Rouge in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Training Specialist, Inflight Service YVR. This full-time, on-site role supports the YVR base, delivering world-class training and onboard coaching to Cabin Crew while upholding safety and service excellence.

You will coordinate training programs, liaise with external providers, and contribute to Rouge culture through effective mentoring and documentation. A strong aviation background with instructional experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous instructional experience (preferred).
• Bachelor of Education is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Transport Canada Flight Attendant Training Standards and related regulations.
• Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies.
• Commitment to customer service and safety.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging IFS training sessions that meet regulatory standards.
• Coordinate Rouge Crew training programs (Initial, First Aid, Annual Recurrent, Service).
• Act as liaison between Air Canada Rouge and external training providers.
• Participate in training delivery audits and ensure quality standards.
• Manage administrative tasks and documentation with accuracy.
• Oversee print materials for training courses and publications.
• Coach and mentor team members on training assignments, including on-the-job coaching.
• Provide base support and assist with operational needs.
• Support Flight Attendant recruitment activities as required.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in daily operations.
• Maintain personal Flight Attendant qualifications and flying hours.
• Be available for business travel and 24/7 operational support.
• Work shift schedules as required.
