Overview

Join GLOCAL's Online Volunteering Program. GLOCAL’s ONLINE VOLUNTEERING program enables Canadians to engage in remote volunteering with 1500+ peers nationwide, at their own pace.

How does Our Online Volunteer Program Work?

  • Visit our GLOCAL website and fill out the application form;
  • Join an Orientation Session (twice daily during weekdays) and discuss your plan with GLOCAL track managers.

Choose one or more tracks of your interest and apply them in community service and civic knowledge mobilization:

  • Research
  • Data
  • Social Media & Communications
  • Digital Products & Services
  • Community Outreach
  • Compliance
  • Choose a volunteering plan:
  • 5 hours per YEAR
  • 5 hours per MONTH
  • 5 hours per WEEK

Note : The specified hours are approximate and flexible. Volunteers can work more or fewer hours. Actual hours will be recognized accordingly.

Start volunteering at your own pace, apply for microgrants (if eligible), and join workshops and networking events.

CANConnect Diversity Micro-grants for Canadian Youth

Funded in part by ESDC, this program supports youth in designing research, videos, interviews, or digital projects promoting civic engagement. For 2024-2025, 160 grants (up to $5,000) will be awarded.
