Job summary

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre invites applications for a permanent, part-time Online Learning Facilitator. The role is based at Hillmond Central School in Hillmond and Paradise Hill High School in Paradise Hill.

OLFs support students in online learning, acting as the primary contact and collaborating with teachers to ensure a quality online educational experience. Strong communication and organizational skills, plus comfort with online tools, are essential.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma with work experience or equivalent.
• Advanced computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Experience delivering online education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students in online learning environments and be the primary contact for learners.
• Create and manage DLC accounts, requests, and course selections.
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
• Take attendance per period.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Ensure students have necessary resources (materials, tech, lab supplies).
• Orient new students to procedures and login processes.
• Proctor exams and monitor progress.
