Job summary

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 is seeking an Online Learning Facilitator for Ben McIntyre School in Uranium City. The role is school-based, full-time, temporary to June 23, 2027, with hourly pay depending on certification.

The candidate will work online, coordinate resources, orient new students, and monitor progress while collaborating with teachers and staff in a digitally supported learning environment.

Qualifications

• Work independently in an online delivery model.
• Advanced computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook).
• Must be caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoy working with children
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Grade 12 preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Work as a collaborative team member that may include Online Teachers, Student Support Teachers, Principalor Support Staff.
• Ensures students have necessary resources (Sask DLC materials, pintables, textbooks, technology, lab supplies, etc.) as per the Resources page in each course; record and return.
• Orientates new students to classroom procedures and expectations, logging in, and how online learning works within their school.
• Supervise and demonstrate knowledge and application of diverse learning supports to meet student academic needs (i.e. clarify directions, read questions/assignments, etc.); direct them to other supports when applicable (Sask DLC teacher, admin, etc.).
• Update student pace/progress tool (i.e. calendar on whiteboard, Excel document)
• Monitor pace/progress/success (i.e. check Moodle logs, check grades, talk with students, talk with teachers, upcoming due dates, use auto-forwards from Moodle, etc.)
