Job summary

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre seeks a part-time Student Support Teacher for online instruction to support diverse learners. The role focuses on inclusion, differentiation, and collaboration with teachers and families to enhance student success in a virtual setting.

The position runs Aug 27, 2026–Jun 25, 2027 (0.6 FTE). Experience in online learning and student support is valued; STF collective agreement guidance applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching certification in Saskatchewan.
• Master of Education (M.Ed.) or Special Education Certificate is preferred.
• Valid Saskatchewan teaching certificate with SPTRB and STF membership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Saskatchewan curriculum with differentiation for diverse learners.
• Design and implement differentiated instructional strategies for varying learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support Inclusion and Intervention Plans (IIP).
• Analyze student performance data to inform instruction and adjust practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and learning behaviours.

Education
