Position: Online Educational Assistant

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a permanent 4 hours/day Online Educational Assistant. This position can be located in the following campuses with available space: Kenaston, Estevan, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Neilburg, Saskatoon, Swift Current, or Yorkton. The position will commence on August 26th, 2025, or a mutually agreed upon date if necessary.

Its head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses in Estevan, Kenaston, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Neilburg, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current, and Yorkton.

Online Educational Assistant Summary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Campus Principal, Online Educational Assistants provide support services to help students achieve their academic, social, physical, and personal potential. They assist students with intensive needs by supporting the development of life skills, academic support, communication, and behavioral support as required by students and directed by teachers in an online environment.

This role focuses on delivering a quality online educational experience. It requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, significant experience with relevant technology, an understanding of online learning challenges, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contact and enroll full-time online students into courses, maintaining student graduation plan data to meet Ministry of Education requirements.
