Job summary

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide quality oncology nursing care to complex patient populations in Northwestern Ontario. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering patient- and family-centered care in alignment with professional standards and hospital policies.

Reporting to the Manager of Oncology Nursing Services, you will apply advanced nursing skills in chemotherapy and radiotherapy settings, contribute to a learning

Qualifications

Must be a registered nurse in Ontario
Current BCLS certification
Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required
Experience with complex oncology patients preferred

Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care to oncology patients, including complex cases
Work within a multidisciplinary health care team
Adhere to Professional Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario and hospital policies
Support patient- and family-centered care (PFCC) philosophy
