Lakeridge Health Oshawa is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide pharmacy services to oncology patients, including sterile drug preparation and dispensing outpatient prescriptions. The role supports chemotherapy satellite and retail pharmacy operations and requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Accommodation will be provided during the recruitment process. Applicants must be registered with the OCP and have the CCAPP-accredited education, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT).
• Graduate of a CCAPP Accredited Pharmacy Technician Education Program.
• Minimum 2 years hospital experience including sterile compounding preferred.
• Recent experience in chemotherapy drug preparation and handling preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pharmacy services to oncology patients including preparation of sterile antineoplastic doses.
• Dispense outpatient prescriptions through the retail pharmacy service.
• Assist in stocking and inventory for chemotherapy satellite and retail pharmacy; assist patients with medication coverage.
