CancerCare Manitoba in Winnipeg is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Clinic Services Program to provide professional nursing services to patients undergoing medical assessment, treatment or follow-up, and to coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager, in compliance with CRNM Standards of Nursing Practice, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional registered nursing services to patients receiving medical assessment, treatment, or follow-up at CancerCare Manitoba. These services also include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of patient care. The Registered Nurse assesses patients' and families' physical, psychosocial and spiritual responses to the disease process and/or treatment and provides nursing interventions that include physical care to manage the disease and treatment‑related symptoms, psychosocial support and education to encourage active participation in decision‑making and self‑care.
This position is subject to a Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, an Adult Abuse Registry Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
