Job summary

Victor Energy, part of the Java Group, seeks a Quality Coordinator (Site) to lead project QA/QC activities and ensure compliance with project specs, client requirements, applicable codes, and Victor Energy's QMS. This site-based role collaborates with construction, project management, clients, and quality leadership to achieve successful project execution.

Responsibilities include executing QA/QC on-site, coordinating with the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and client standards; maintaining quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in construction of foundations, transmission, distribution and/or substations.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply Codes, Standards, Specifications and Drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Service-oriented with the ability to be assertive and persuasive.
• Experience on major utility construction projects is an asset.
• Resourceful and maintains professional and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project QA/QC activities on the site.
• Coordinate and implement QA/QC activities per Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and client requirements.
• Review, maintain and control project quality documentation and resolve deficiencies.
• Perform inspections for foundations, grounding, structure erection, conductor installation and material receiving.
• Document NCRs, deficiencies and corrective actions and drive closure with team.
