Job summary

Soletanche Bachy Canada is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to lead QA/QC on a major industrial deep foundations project in Kitimat, BC. You will be the on-site quality lead, conduct inspections, keep records, manage non-conformances and deliver turnover packages that meet client requirements.

This site-based role operates on a 14/7 rotation with starting work in Edmonton or Calgary, AB, then BC. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of field QC experience and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of construction quality control experience.
• Experience on major industrial or piling / deep foundations projects is a strong asset.
• Hands-on experience with ITPs, field inspections, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Experience compiling turnover packages that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC on a major industrial project on site and be the main point of contact for quality.
• Carry out inspections, keep quality records complete and accurate, manage non-conformances.
• Deliver turnover packages that meet the client’s quality requirements.
• Review project plans and specifications and prepare QA/QC documents including ITPs.
• Assist with field inspections and monitor installation procedures.
• Maintain quality records and ensure project auditing meets client requirements.
