Job summary

UA Local 496 in Calgary is seeking 2nd to 4th year Plumbing Apprentices for a full-time, on-site role. You will assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial plumbing systems, learning from journeypersons and contributing to safe, efficient job sites.

Responsibilities include measuring and cutting pipe, assembling fixtures, reading drawings, and supporting layout and troubleshooting while following safety procedures and using PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing installation, fixture assembly, and basic system troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE usage.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work varying shifts.
