Job summary

Sienna Senior Living seeks a Financial Analyst to join the Ontario operations team. The role focuses on analyzing financial data to support strategic decisions, budgeting and forecasting, and optimizing operations across residents’ services.

The candidate will partner with Operations leadership, develop robust financial models, and ensure accurate reporting. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, CPA designation, and 3–5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Chartered Professional Accounting designation or working towards completion preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in full-cycle accounting and/or financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and improvement of financial models and analyses to support strategies.
• Partner with Operations Senior Leadership for timely, accurate business analysis.
• Collaborate with support teams for integrated reporting and insights.
• Analyze monthly financial results and communicate risks and opportunities; follow up on plans.
• Provide training and share expertise with team members and Operations.
• Support annual operating and capital budgets; lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform month-end close, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
