Job summary

Providence Health Care is seeking a permanent, full‑time Network Operations Specialist to monitor and maintain critical network environments, platforms, and applications at the new St. Paul’s Hospital site in Vancouver.

You’ll perform real‑time incident triage, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high availability and security of digital infrastructure. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years in a networked

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years in a complex networked environment.
• Experience with network performance monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization using industry tools.
• Ability to interpret metrics, detect anomalies and maintain security/compliance per privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network environments, platforms, and applications.
• Perform real‑time incident triage and coordinate escalation with teams/vendors.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support network reliability, upgrades, and documentation for operational procedures.
• Collaborate to establish NOC processes, dashboards, and workflows for reliable digital infrastructure.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and SOPs; contribute to disaster recovery planning.
