Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities across key mining assets and support the end-to-end lifecycle in SAP S/4HANA. The role reports to the Superintendent or Senior Lead, Maintenance, and requires close work with trades, planners, and operations to ensure accurate work requests and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, a solid technical understanding of mining equipment, and proven experience with maintenance

Qualifications

• Journeyperson's ticket or engineering degree in Mechanical, Mining, Processing.
• 7 years of planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance work.
• Strong CMMS and technology systems knowledge.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate large volumes of maintenance work requests and work orders within S4/HANA.
• Lead daily work control meetings with Supervisors, Planners and Operations.
• Ensure safety requirements are identified and communicated to Supervisors.
• Verify proper completion of work orders with accurate labour, parts and notes.
• Collaborate with trades, operations and planning teams to optimize uptime.
