Job summary

Frontier Bakery in Mississauga is seeking an on-site mechanical technician to assemble equipment, troubleshoot machinery, and read blueprints. You will repair parts, fabricate components during overhauls, and perform routine maintenance while installing machinery and equipment at our location.

The ideal candidate holds a secondary school diploma and has 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience. You must wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses, and demonstrate excellent communication

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• Installing machinery and equipment.
