Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mechanical Field Services Representative to support construction-phase services on building projects across British Columbia and Alberta. The role bridges design and construction to ensure mechanical systems are installed in alignment with design intent, codes, and project requirements.

You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders, combining your technical design knowledge with field coordination and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, building systems, or construction administration.
• Experience with consulting engineering or design firms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field Review & Site Coordination: verify installation aligns with drawings and specs.
• Construction Administration & Documentation: manage RFIs, site instructions, change orders, submittals, and progress claims.
• Project Coordination & Delivery: support constructability reviews, sequencing, scheduling, and commissioning activities.
