Job summary

Chemtrade in Edmonton, AB is seeking an EHS Specialist-Canada to implement and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the site level. You will lead training, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in safety performance.

The role requires a certificate in health or safety and MS Office skills; experience in chemical processing is preferred. Competitive CAD salary 95k–105k plus benefits and bonus potential; on-site work.

Qualifications

• Certificate in occupational health or safety, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering or another relevant field.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Experience in chemical processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs at assigned Chemtrade plant(s).
• Ensure site compliance with EHS regulations and training requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and drive EHS action items to completion.
• Collect, organize and communicate EHS metrics to track performance.
