Regehr Contracting Ltd in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to lead estimating and project management on civil construction projects. The role is full-time and on-site, with responsibility for cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

You will prepare tender packages, liaise with clients and consultants, and ensure safety and environmental compliance across projects. Minimum 5–10 years of CM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Experience with AutoCAD, 3D, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to estimate quantities and prepare project budgets.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Minimum 5–10 years in construction management.
• Experience on large-scale heavy civil projects.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5).
• Knowledge of safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs and prepare tender packages for new projects.
• Manage civil construction projects with the management team.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and sub-trades.
• Monitor budgeting, cost-to-complete and billing.
• Prepare project schedules and progress reports.
• Procure building materials and manage subcontractors.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental programs are followed.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings as required.
