Job summary

AVI-SPL Canada is seeking an Installation Technician 1 to perform installation tasks on contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, equipment setup, and rack fabrication, coordinating with the lead technician to meet time, scope, budget, and safety requirements.

The role requires basic understanding of AV systems, low-voltage cabling, and strong teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction on various job sites.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors for AV systems.
• Assist Lead Tech with management and security of equipment and tools on site.
• Assist with basic rack wiring and metal fabrication.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Perform tasks and adapt to evolving priorities and project needs.
