Job summary

AVI-SPL Canada is seeking an Installation Technician 2 to perform installation tasks for contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and wiring. You may lead installation crews on smaller projects by coordinating with the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals.

You will read schematics, install low-voltage cabling, and test system functionality, while maintaining communication with the office and on-site teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in audiovisual installation is required or preferred.
• CTS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks based on project scope and directives.
• Lead Level 1 Technicians and oversee quality of work.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools for installation and testing.
• Communicate daily site status to Project Manager.
• Coordinate with other trades on site.
