Job summary

PGW Auto Glass in Ontario seeks an Auto Glass Certified Technician to repair and replace automotive glass and calibrate ADAS systems, ensuring safety and quality. The role requires precision, strong customer service, and the ability to work at customer locations or on-site with a mobile service option.

The technician will perform repairs and replacements, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate service records while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in auto glass repair and replacement is preferred.
• Experience in auto glass repair and replacement.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift loads up to 30 kg.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows and other glass components with proper fit and seal.
• Strictly follow safety protocols.
• Conduct thorough inspections before and after installation to ensure quality.
• Explain repair and replacement processes to customers; provide accurate estimates and timelines.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports; submit logs as required.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition; perform maintenance checks.
• Deliver mobile services at customer locations as needed.
