Job summary

Canlan Sports in British Columbia seeks an On Ice Instructor to deliver hockey programs and provide exceptional customer experiences onsite at Canlan facilities.

You will assist in preparing lesson plans, support in program delivery, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet program needs. This role focuses on youth hockey development within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong understanding of skating and hockey fundamentals.
• Team oriented with good people and relationship skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; organized and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hockey programs as set out in Canlan's standardized portfolio.
• Provide exceptional customer experiences through program execution.
• Assist in the preparation of lesson plans for programs.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum two years of Hockey or Skating instructing experiencePast CoachingTeaching Experience preferredHigh level hockey playing experience would be an asset
