Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. seeks an on-farm Technical Services Representative to provide technical support for the RWA/Organic programs, driving flock health, performance, and continuous improvement.

This role interfaces with producers, sales, procurement, live operations and external partners, requiring frequent travel and strong relationship-building. You will guide best practices, troubleshoot challenges, and support adoption of new technologies to enhance program results while aligning with Maple

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or university degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in a poultry sales or technical role.
• Strong knowledge of animal science, nutrition, and broiler management without antibiotics.
• Demonstrated initiative to identify improvements and deliver results.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others.
• Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills.

• Excellent presentation and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-farm technical support liaison between producers and internal teams.
• Drive RWA/Organic program performance and technology transfer on farm.
• Develop placement and shipping schedules with the sales team.
• Coordinate on-farm RWA supplies and equipment as needed.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Sales, Procurement, Quality and Live Operations.
• Communicate technical issues with solution-oriented recommendations.
• Support Technical Services with nutrition or protocol aspects for RWA program.
• Travel frequently farm-to-farm to support programs.
