Job summary

Clintar is hiring Salt Truck Drivers for the Winter Season. Join our ice and snow team focused on efficient clearing and de-icing. All roles are on-call, often overnight, and contingent on winter conditions for commercial, industrial, and institutional properties.

Candidates must be available on short notice, round the clock, including holidays. Pay is $26 to $30 per hour, experience-based. Responsibilities include safe operation of salt trucks, responding to emergencies, following site maps,

Qualifications

• Must be on call and available 24/7, including holidays.
• Respond to emergency salt applications during heavy snowfalls.
• Operate salt truck safely on parking lots and paved areas.
• Keep sites clean and avoid property damage during snow removal.
• Must have reliable smartphone and submit daily timesheets.

Responsibilities

• Operate salt truck to clear and de-ice designated areas.
• Respond to emergency salt application requests as required.
• Follow site maps, route books and LMN system instructions.
• Communicate with supervisors and dispatch about conditions and progress.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly to the Winter Supervisor.
