Job summary

W̱SÁNEĆ School Board is seeking an On-Call Teacher to provide instruction and develop a flexible program that supports learning and personal growth consistent with each student’s abilities.

The role includes developing knowledge of W̱SÁNEĆ history and culture, and works under the direction of school principals and college directors to deliver instruction within BC curriculum and school policies.

Qualifications

• Valid BC College of Teachers certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or specialized knowledge with expertise in a field.
• Language proficiency and completion of the SENĆOŦEN/ED SENĆOŦEN Program.
• Master of Education or equivalent (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Teach students across kindergarten to grade 12.
• Develop a flexible program and learning environment.
• Integrate knowledge of W̱SÁNEĆ history and culture.
• Collaborate with school leadership to support student growth.
