Canada Post is hiring on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers for delivery across communities. You will be responsible for sorting, loading, and delivering mail, maintaining security, and representing Canada Post on the road.

Ideal candidates are independent, comfortable driving in all weather, and capable of handling up to 50 lb loads. Positions are temporary with potential future permanent openings.

Competenze

• Must have a safe driving record (driver's abstract required).
• Valid permanent provincial driver's license - class 5 or G.

Mansioni

• Sort, collect and deliver mail items safely and on time.
• Learn local infrastructure and delivery receptacles to perform routes efficiently.
• Keep mail secure while in your possession.
• Process CPC products and services (e.g., Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB).
• Wear Canada Post identification and ensure visibility during delivery and collection.
• Assist with lifting and carrying items up to 50 lb (22.7 kg).
• Deliver using a motor vehicle in various weather conditions.
