Job summary

Canada Post / Postes Canada in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario is seeking dependable on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers to deliver mail across local communities. This temporary on-call role offers a competitive salary and the possibility to apply for upcoming permanent positions.

You’ll sort, collect and deliver mail safely, become familiar with local roads and customers, and wear your Canada Post ID while working in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record (driver's abstract required).
• Must possess a valid permanent provincial driver’s license - class 5 or G.

Responsibilities

• Sort, collect and deliver mail safely and on time.
• Know local roads, customers and delivery receptacles.
• Keep mail securely in your possession.
• Process CPC products and services (Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB, etc.).
• Wear Canada Post identification while delivering and collecting mail.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 lb (22.7 kg).
• Deliver in all weather and traffic conditions.
