Job summary

BC Liquor Stores in Smithers is seeking an Auxiliary Sales Associate to join our busy store. This full-time on-call role focuses on delivering friendly, efficient service, handling cashier duties, and assisting customers with product knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be 19+, legally able to work in Canada, and hold a Serving It Right certificate. Physical work including lifting 20–25 kg boxes is expected, with opportunities for more hours as seniority grows.

Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years of age.
• Be able to legally work in Canada.
• Be able to provide excellent customer service.
• Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with the public.
• Be able to demonstrate aptitude for cashier and related duties, including calculations.
• Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-25 kg boxes.
• Have a valid Serving It Right Certificate.
• Have a secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities
