Job summary

Canada Post in Trois-Rivières, QC is hiring temporary, on-call delivery agents (letter carriers). You’ll start at the depot, sort and prepare deliveries, load a postal vehicle, and then deliver mail and parcels on your route, by foot or by vehicle, returning to the depot for inbound items. Fluency in English and/or French is required.

This role offers competitive pay, extensive training, and potential for permanent employment depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• The ability to read, write and speak English and/or French.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience making deliveries or working as a driver is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Start the day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries.
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route.
• Return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
