Job summary

Canada Post is hiring a temporary, on-call delivery agent (Letter Carrier) in Fort Frances, ON. You will be the face of Canada Post in your community, ensuring customers and businesses receive mail and parcels on time.

Qualifications

• Valid Class5 or ClassG driver’s licence with a clean driving record for at least 3 years (driver's abstract required)
• Physical ability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• On-call availability
• Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French

Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare the daily deliveries at the depot
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages on your route by foot or vehicle
• Return to the depot to unload and sort mail for next deliveries
