Job summary

Wright International Aircraft Maintenance Services Inc is seeking an On-Call Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support line maintenance on widebody aircraft in St. John's, NL. Endorsements for B777, B787 or A330 TC approved are required; contract/on-call role.

You will perform daily checks, sign off work, and coordinate with Dispatch. A TC M2 license and 2+ years AME experience are essential. Must be eligible to work in Canada; sponsorship not provided; able to commute to YYT/YYR; on-call

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Transport Canada M2 license.
Must hold valid Transport Canada B777, B787, or A330 endorsements.
Minimum 2 years of licensed AME experience, line maintenance preferred.
Must be eligible to work in Canada; sponsorship not provided; ability to commute to YYT/YYR.
Proactive, organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on widebody aircraft types on an on-call basis.
Perform other work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins in accordance with accepted practices.
Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.
Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor/manager.
Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required.
