Job description

Position Summary

To pick and pack online grocery delivery orders ensuring a high standard of quality and accuracy while adhering to strict safety and food hygiene standards to achieve customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
  1. Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature zones with care and attention to quality to ensure "On Time" delivery to customers.
  2. Pack orders meticulously, distinguishing between similar products, ensuring correct quantities and product codes.
  3. Ensure picked products are of the highest quality, free from damage, and include the freshest options.
  4. Document and label all orders accurately by interpreting documentation such as pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
  5. Optimize tote filling by packing orders efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.
  6. Balance order fulfillment responsibilities with customer service, supporting issue resolution when necessary.
  7. Maintain strict safety and hygiene standards by keeping work areas clean, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring totes are debris-free. Operate material handling equipment safely, completing safety checks before use, and demonstrating behaviors aligned with the organization’s values.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting operational, safety, and quality enhancements. Be flexible to adjust work based on customer needs and daily schedules.
