Job summary

Canadian Natural's Oil Sands Royalty Analyst will join the Oil Sands Royalty Group to complete OSR royalty reporting for projects across our mining, thermal, E&P oil sands assets. You will collaborate with operations and finance teams to broaden your oil sands knowledge and contribute to accurate forecasts.

The role emphasizes detail, analytical rigor, and clear communication as you handle monthly and annual OSR reports, audits, and project expansions, within a supportive, safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Related University Degree and Accounting Designation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
• EnterpriseOne or similar ERP software.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry and familiarity with Alberta Energy Oil Sands Royalty Regulations considered an asset.
