Job summary

Park Paving Ltd. in Edmonton area is seeking an Oil & Lube Service Field Technician to operate a 2-ton service truck in the field and support our fleet maintenance.

You will perform on-site oil and filter changes, grease equipment, and check fluids, documenting each service in the company’s asset management software. The role requires a valid Class 5 license, ability to drive a standard transmission, and proven experience with construction equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a lube/service technician or equivalent
• Experience with scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and trucks
• Must have Valid Class 5 license and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle

Job description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We own and operate a large fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles as part of our business and we are looking for a OIL & LUBE SERVICE FIELD TECHNICIAN to work out in the field and help support our company's operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Operation of a 2-ton service and lube truck
• Performing on-site oil and filter changes, equipment greasing, and fluid level checks
• Replacing wear parts and performing small mechanical repairs
• Keeping detail records of work performed using the company's asset management software

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver's license (or higher)
• MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A STANDARD TRANSMISSION VEHICLE
• Proven experience as a lube/service technician, or equivalent experience/education
• Previous experience with scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and trucks
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must be able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions
• Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment. ***
