Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres in Surrey, BC is hiring a Lube Technician to join our friendly team. This full-time permanent role offers a daytime shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with starting pay at $25.96 per hour.

You will perform oil and fluid changes, replace filters, inspect components, and support our technicians while maintaining safety and accurate records. We provide generous vacation, employer RRSPs or union pension options, and company-paid extended health coverage including

• Some mechanical experience preferred.
• Able to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license (Class 3 or 1 license is considered an asset).

• Perform oil and fluid changes on commercial trucks.
• Replace filters, lubricate parts, and check for leaks.
• Inspect belts, hoses, and fluid levels.
• Keep accurate records of work completed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Position Overview:

Be the first point of contact, providing exceptional service by assessing vehicle concerns, checking recalls, and keeping customers informed. Handle warranty claims, prepare repair orders, and ensure timely repairs. If you have effective communication skills and a passion for customer service, this role is for you!
