Job summary

Park Paving Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Oil & Lube Service Field Technician to operate a 2-ton service and lube truck in the field and support our Edmonton-area operations.

You will perform on-site oil and filter changes, equipment greasing, and fluid level checks, while replacing wear parts and handling minor repairs. You must have a valid Class 5 license, be able to drive a standard transmission, and have prior lube/maintenance experience on construction equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 license required.
• Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
• Experience as a lube/service technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 2-ton service and lube truck in the field.
• Perform on-site oil and filter changes, greasing, and fluid level checks.
• Replace wear parts and perform small mechanical repairs.
• Maintain detailed records using the company asset management software.

Job description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We own and operate a large fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles as part of our business and we are looking for a OIL & LUBE SERVICE FIELD TECHNICIAN to work out in the field and help support our company's operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Operation of a 2-ton service and lube truck
• Performing on-site oil and filter changes, equipment greasing, and fluid level checks.
• Replacing wear parts and performing small mechanical repairs.
• Keeping detail records of work performed using the company's asset management software.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver's license (or higher)
• MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A STANDARD TRANSMISSION VEHICLE
• Proven experience as a lube/service technician, or equivalent experience/education
• Previous experience with scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and trucks
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must be able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions
