About Advocis
Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, is the country’s largest voluntary professional association for financial advisors and planners, with more than 100 years of history and a strong national voice.
We advance professionalism, consumer protection, and public confidence in financial advice through advocacy with governments and regulators, respected education and designations, and a coast-to-coast chapter network. Our work helps shape the future of the financial advice profession and supports ethical, high-quality advice for Canadians.
As a national nonprofit with a lean head office and a broad operational footprint, Advocis values strong governance, disciplined operations, and collaboration to deliver impact across the country.
The Office Services Coordinator supports the smooth day-to-day logistics of office operations, including mail and couriers, office and kitchen supplies, food ordering, and meeting support, while taking strong ownership of office cleanliness, organization, plant care, and kitchen maintenance.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a can-do attitude, strong initiative, and a natural tendency to notice what needs to be done without being asked. The successful candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organized workplace and is eager to lend a helping hand wherever needed. While professional cleaners support the office, day-to-day standards and upkeep are owned by this role. This job description is not intended to be exhaustive, and flexibility is required to support the office and staff where needed.
