Do you thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment where no two days are the same? Capital Automotive Group looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the accounting department at our dealership and play a key role in our continued success!

Reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers a unique blend of leadership, hands-on financial management, and collaboration across departments — all within a high-performing dealership environment.

Job Responsibilities

Implement and manage internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes and procedures

Provides advice and guidance on all accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis, and reporting

Monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures

Supervising and training the clerical staff

Coordination of interdepartmental transactions and expense allocation

Month End Payroll calculations and Updating of General Ledgers

Accrual management

Intercompany reconciliation with other business entities in our organization

KPI reporting

Month End Expense Working Papers

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a dealership/automotive setting Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications Knowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital to the role Management and or supervisory experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move forward
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills are essential Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Valid driver license
