Office Manager - Capital Ford Lincoln

Do you thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment where no two days are the same? Capital Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the accounting department at our dealership and play a key role in our continued success!

Reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers a unique blend of leadership, hands-on financial management, and collaboration across departments — all within a high-performing dealership environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Implement and manage internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes, and procedures.
  2. Provide advice and guidance on all accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis, and reporting.
  3. Monitor internal controls to ensure accounting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  4. Supervise and train clerical staff.
  5. Coordinate interdepartmental transactions and expense allocations.
  6. Manage Month-End Payroll calculations and update General Ledgers.
  7. Oversee accrual management.
  8. Perform intercompany reconciliation with other organization entities.
  9. Prepare KPI reports.
  10. Maintain Month-End Expense Working Papers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a dealership/automotive setting with knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications.
  • Knowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Management and supervisory experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
  • Leadership, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
