The Evermore Centre is hiring an Office Coordinator for 20 hrs / week.
Evermore provides programs and services to support children, youth and families who are formed by adoption, kinship care, guardianship, anywhere where the children are no longer with their biological families. Evermore strives to empower families through education, programs, and services so that every child can flourish in a forever family.
The Office Coordinator is an individual whose primary focus is to help and improve the well-being of others. This positions main roles are administration of the database and client service along with social media and website management. This position will also collaborate with and support the staff to build on the existing communications strategy & programming plan.
The position involves :
Client Services- Office reception, scheduling appointments, processing registrations, payments and receipts, managing the Carol Bothwell Resource Library, as well as answering questions and emails from prospective parents, adoptees, birth parents etc.
Database for Members and the Domestic Adoption Orientation (DAO) Managing the registration for the DAO program in the database. Processing and renewing memberships.
Social Media Responsible for our online presence and ensuring our social media plan is aligned with our content pillars.
Website Management - Updating the website using Wordpress.
Collaborating Assisting with social median and communication as well as programs, planning and delivery.
This position is Monday Thursday 9 : 00am to 2 : 00 pm at an hourly wage of $24.00 and includes benefits and pension.
Education & Skills : The ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary education and experience, be culturally sensitive & possess above average skills in communication. The successful candidate will also be a team player as well as self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
