Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus is seeking an Office Assistant to support Literacy and Adult Education programs. The role provides administrative and reception duties, information to the public, and liaison with other departments to help the program run smoothly.

The successful candidate will have an office education or business certificate and at least two years of admin experience, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Office certificate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years recent and relevant administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and reception support to the program head and instructional staff.
  • Provide information and support services to Literacy and Adult Education students.
  • Provide program information to the public and outside agencies.
  • Liaise with other departments and offices.
  • Create and manage the student database.
  • Manage the office, including reception duties.
  • Assist students, staff to ensure the program runs smoothly.

  • Ability to work independently under generalized supervision.
