Elbow River Casino in Calgary is seeking an experienced Off Track Betting Cashier to join our team and ensure guests have a positive experience. The role emphasizes excellent communication and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling horse racing bets, maintaining cash float, and providing basic technical support for betting machines. Preference is given to candidates with OTB experience and strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Process horse racing bets on specialized betting terminals.
• Provide basic technical support for betting machines and diagnose issues.
• Report any machine malfunction or suspicious activity to supervisor or security.
• Prepare and maintain decoders and televisions.
• Identify and report counterfeit bills to supervisor or security.
• Follow all rules outlined by Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency.
• Other duties as assigned.
