Job summary

APE Maintenance seeks a skilled technician to join our on-site team in Fort McMurray. You will mentor and instruct apprentices while performing heavy truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to meet manufacturer specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience and holds an other trades certificate or diploma. This role emphasizes hands-on work at our location with standard safety practices and documentation duties.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• On-site position at Fort McMurray.
• Other trades certificate or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct apprentices
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks
• Conduct other routine maintenance
