Job summary

Bouchier is seeking Heavy-Duty Mechanics to join their Repairs and Maintenance team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will perform a wide range of repairs and diagnostics on heavy equipment, supporting an integrated site services operation for Athabasca Oil Sands.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient equipment handling in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, required certificates, and the ability to work with hoists, hand tools, and diverse machinery.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Red Seal certificate or Alberta Journeyperson in Heavy-Duty
• Off-Road Certificate is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools
• Knowledge and experience operating all equipment for positioning and diagnosing purposes
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certificate
• WHMIS
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
