Position Summary
The OTA/PTA is an integral member of the inter-professional team, acting as a clinical resource and supporting the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy professions by performing clinical duties as assigned by licensed therapists.
Duties
The RCC at Buttonwood is a 30-bed unit aimed at improving patient restoration and maintaining social, cognitive, and physical functioning through patient-specific, goal-based service planning. Patients do not require acute care but need therapy to improve independence. The RCC also aims to reduce pressures on acute care hospitals, decrease long-term care placements, and lower re-admission risks.
