Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance to the Occupational Therapist.

  • Prepares and maintains equipment inventory and assists with maintenance programs.

  • Maintains infection control practices in treatment areas.
  • Distributes equipment as needed and participates in information sharing.
  • Collects and manages data in the computer system.

They help to assist with implantation care plan, wheelchair adjustments and equipment inventory. They assist the therapist in providing additional training and education to residents in the communities in which they workThis position assists in assessing, planning, implementation, and ongoing delivery of therapy programs to encourage residents to function at their maximum potential.
