Job summary

VHA Home HealthCare in Ontario is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and provide pediatric home- and school-based therapy, supporting independence and client-centered care. You will collaborate with families, schools, and the client care team to tailor interventions and measure progress.

You will document outcomes, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive culture that values quality and compassion in community care settings.

Qualifications

  • OT degree from an accredited program.
  • Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide OT interventions in clients' homes and schools.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessments.
  • Coordinate care with the client care team for schedules and interventions.
  • Document findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries.
  • Promote safe client care and independence through evidence-based practice.

I feel welcome and at home.”View more comments from our clients and their family members.Pay RangeAs an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will be assessing and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to a diverse group of pediatric clients in their homes and/or schools using evidence-based best practice.
